Fancy springtime cocktails to try at your next event.

Updated: May 16

The sun is out, patios are open, and you need refreshment. Since we take drink service and bartending seriously, we have to keep you up-to-date in the cocktail department. So, here are 4 cocktails and 1 mocktail to try as the weather warms up.

Aperol Spritz

This drink is a little fruity, a little tart, not too boozy, and a perfect patio drink. Aperol is a refreshing liqueur made with fresh herbs and fruit that will give your drink a refreshing flavor and beautiful sunset color.

Make the Aperol Spritz at home:

Use the 3-2-1 formula (3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol and 1-part soda water). Serve over ice and garnish with an orange. If you haven't had one, now is the time.

Cucumber-gin cocktail

Give the traditional gin and tonic a refreshing twist at your next event. This cocktail's crisp flavor and vibrant ingredients make it the perfect springtime drink.

Make a Cucumber-gin Cocktail at home:

Cut a 4" piece of peeled cucumber into small chunks. Then muddle the cucumber with lime zest, 2 tsp of sugar, and 2 lemon slices. Finally, add 4 oz of gin and 1 oz of lime juice and top with Club soda.

Coconut Mojito

This tropical version of the go-to mojito is mouth-wateringly luxurious. Transport your guests to an island with just one sip.

Make a Coconut Mojito at home:

Muddle 6 mint leaves, half a lime, and 1 tsp of coarse sugar. Then top with 2 oz of coconut rum and 2 oz of coconut cream and stir. Finally, add ice and top with soda water for a bit of fizz.

Fruity Shandy

There's nothing more refreshing than a cold beer or glass of lemonade on a hot day. So it's no surprise that the combination of both creates the perfect warm-weather beverage.

Make a Fruity Shandy at home:

Simply mix your favorite blonde beer with your juice of choice, and you've got springtime in a glass.

Non-alcoholic fruit press

Want to quench your thirst without the buzz? Go old school and mix up a fruit press.

Make a non-alcoholic fruit press at home:

Mix equal parts lemon/lime soda, club soda, and your favorite fruit juice to create a fancy and alcohol-free mocktail.

Cheers to the beautiful Colorado weather!
